Acrylic
Acrylic is actually a plastic used as a medium for pigments. Most of the paintings we sell use acrylic paint. Acrylic paint is quick drying and lasts.
Abstract

Artist
An artist is a person that creates aesthetic work or works in performing arts.
Canvas
Canvas is an extremely heavy-duty fabric - usually made of cotton or linen.
Colour
Colour is a visual perceptual property which humans apply certain names to.
Contemporary

Landscape
Landscape has two main definitions. The first is a depiction on land or the features of land in art or visual arts. The second is to describe a format which is wider than it is deep. Both these concepts can be viewed in our landscape art gallery.
Original
Original defines created or invented works or concepts as being new or novel. All our paintings at BOSHart are new - we do not sell prints.
Paint
Paint is a liquid composition which after application to a substrate in a thin layer is converted to an opaque solid film.
Varnish
Varnish is a transparent, hard, protective finish or film that is applied to paintings after they are dry to add protection and to preserve colour definitions.
